Tarmac’s Mountsorrel Quarry is proud to have been able to support Mountsorrel Parish Council with this year’s Remembrance Day commemorations.
The quarry donated a number of red light bulbs which were used to illuminate the memorial on Castle Hill.
Trevor Warren, works manager at Mountsorrel Quarry said; “It is an honor to be part of Remembrance Day commemorations and to pay tribute to those who have fought for their country.”
Along with the donation of light bulbs, Tarmac is also working with the parish council to refurbish the lighting system and help with structural repairs to the memorial cross, both at Castle Hill. The repairs will be done once a survey has been completed and the scope of works has been identified.
