Tarmac’s Mountsorrel Quarry is looking to recruit a Higher Apprentice Minerals Product Technician to work in their laboratory.
The role will involve working in both a laboratory and office environment, as well as outside work observing and carrying out operational tasks. These tasks include the sampling and testing of asphalt, aggregate and concrete, complaint investigation and material optimisation.
We are looking for someone who is passionate for success, self-motivated and driven, and interested in learning about a wide variety of materials testing aspects.
You will have the level 2 functional skills qualification in English and Maths (Level 2 award Certificate, Diploma, ESOL, NVQ or GCSE ‘pass’ (grade 9-4) equivalent, 5 GCSEs or equivalent or a Level 2 Apprenticeship.
